DESCRIPTION
A Engine Piston Kit is a set of components that make up the piston assembly in an internal combustion engine. The kit includes the piston, piston rings, wrist pin and circlips. The piston is a cylindrical component that fits inside the engine cylinder and is responsible for compressing the fuel-air mixture during the compression stroke of the engine cycle. Piston rings are placed around the perimeter of the piston to seal it against the cylinder walls and prevent leakage of gases. A wrist pin connects the piston to the connecting rod, which transfers motion from the piston to rotate crankshaft. Circlips hold everything together securely.
