DESCRIPTION
The Engine Piston Kit (part number 4914564) is a set of components that work together to create the power necessary for a truck's engine to function. The kit includes pistons, piston rings, wrist pins, and retainers. The pistons are responsible for converting the energy created by the combustion process into mechanical motion that drives the vehicle. The piston rings ensure a tight seal between the piston and cylinder wall to prevent oil leaks and maintain compression. Wrist pins connect the piston to the connecting rod, allowing it to move in a reciprocating motion within the cylinder bore. Lastly, retainers keep everything securely in place during operation.
