DESCRIPTION
The Transfer Case is a component found in four-wheel drive and all-wheel drive vehicles, including trucks. It is responsible for transferring power from the transmission to both the front and rear axles of a vehicle. This allows for equal distribution of torque to all four wheels, providing improved traction and stability on uneven or slippery terrain. The Transfer Case contains gears that shift power between the front and rear axles as needed, depending on driving conditions. Part Number 5345911 refers to a specific Transfer Case model used in certain truck makes and models.
