DESCRIPTION
The engine connecting rod is a component that connects the piston to the crankshaft in an internal combustion engine. It is responsible for transferring the force generated by the piston to the crankshaft, which in turn converts the reciprocating motion of the piston into rotational motion of the crankshaft. The Cummins® part number 5419907 refers to a specific connecting rod designed and manufactured by Cummins® for use in their engines.
