DESCRIPTION
A engine piston kit is a set of components that includes the piston, rings, and wrist pin. The piston is a cylindrical part that moves up and down inside the engine cylinder, compressing fuel mixture or air during the intake stroke and pushing exhaust gases out during the exhaust stroke. The rings are mounted on the piston to seal against the cylinder wall and prevent leakage of combustion gases. The wrist pin connects the piston to the connecting rod which transfers power from the piston to the engine crankshaft.
