DESCRIPTION
An engine piston kit, with part number 5579311, is a set of components that includes the piston itself, as well as any necessary rings and pins. The piston is a cylindrical component that moves up and down within the engine cylinder. As it moves upward, it compresses the fuel and air mixture in the cylinder. When ignition occurs, the resulting explosion drives the piston back down with force, which transfers to the crankshaft and ultimately powers the vehicle.
