DESCRIPTION
An engine piston kit, also known as a piston assembly, is a set of components that make up the main moving part of an internal combustion engine. The kit typically includes the piston itself, piston rings, and wrist pin. The piston is a cylindrical component that moves up and down inside the engine cylinder to compress air and fuel, creating power to move the vehicle. Piston rings are circular metal bands that fit around the outside of the piston to help seal combustion gases and oil within the cylinder. The wrist pin connects the piston to the connecting rod, which in turn converts linear motion into rotational motion. A properly functioning engine piston kit is critical for efficient operation of an internal combustion engine.
