DESCRIPTION
A piston kit is a collection of components that comprises a piston, piston rings, and wrist pin. The piston is the cylindrical component that moves up and down inside an engine's cylinder bore. It is responsible for compressing the air-fuel mixture before ignition and converting the resulting energy into mechanical motion. Piston rings are thin metal bands that fit around the circumference of the piston to help seal combustion gases within the cylinder and prevent oil from entering. The wrist pin connects the piston to the connecting rod, which in turn transfers motion to the crankshaft. A 3357573 engine piston kit is designed specifically for use in certain truck engines, providing a reliable replacement option for damaged or worn out pistons.
