DESCRIPTION
The Engine Piston Kit, also known as a piston assembly, is a vital component of an internal combustion engine. It consists of a piston, piston rings, and wrist pin. The piston moves up and down inside the cylinder bore and the energy generated by the fuel is transferred to the crankshaft through the connecting rod. The piston rings seal the gap between the piston and cylinder wall to prevent loss of compression pressure during combustion. The wrist pin connects the connecting rod to the piston and allows it to pivot as it moves up and down. The Engine Piston Kit is designed for specific engine applications and must be installed correctly for optimal performance. Part Number 3800327 is a unique identifier used by manufacturers to ensure proper fitment in compatible engines.
