DESCRIPTION
The Engine Piston Kit, also known as the piston assembly, is a crucial component in the internal combustion engine of a truck. The kit consists of a piston, piston rings, wrist pin and circlips. The piston moves up and down within the cylinder to compress air and fuel mixture before ignition. This generates power that is transmitted through the drivetrain to move the truck. The piston rings seal the combustion chamber by preventing oil from leaking into it while keeping combustion gases from escaping into the crankcase. The wrist pin connects the piston to the connecting rod which in turn links it to the crankshaft. The circlips hold everything together securely while allowing for movement during operation. Proper maintenance of this part is essential for ensuring optimal engine performance and longevity.
