DESCRIPTION
The Engine Piston Kit (Part Number: 3802496) for Cummins® commercial trucks is a crucial component of the engine. It is responsible for converting the chemical energy of fuel into mechanical energy by creating reciprocating motion. The piston, located inside the engine cylinder, moves up and down within the cylinder bore. As fuel is ignited, the piston transfers the force to the connecting rod, which in turn drives the crankshaft. This motion generates the power needed to propel the vehicle forward.
