DESCRIPTION
The engine piston kit, also known as the piston assembly, is a critical component of a truck's internal combustion engine. The kit includes the piston, piston rings, wrist pin, and circlips needed for replacement or repair. The piston is a cylindrical component that moves up and down in the cylinder bore to compress air and fuel mixture or to transfer power from expanding gases to the crankshaft. Piston rings provide a seal between the piston and cylinder walls while allowing oil to lubricate both surfaces. The wrist pin connects the piston to the connecting rod, which transfers motion from the pistons to rotate a truck's wheels. Circlips prevent lateral movement of components during operation. Proper maintenance of this part ensures optimal engine performance and fuel efficiency in heavy-duty trucks operating under extreme conditions.
