DESCRIPTION
A Engine Piston Kit is a collection of components that make up the piston assembly in an internal combustion engine. The kit typically includes the piston itself, piston rings, wrist pin, and circlips. The piston is responsible for transferring energy from the expanding gases in the combustion chamber to the crankshaft via the connecting rod. The rings provide a seal between the piston and cylinder wall to prevent blow-by and oil consumption. The wrist pin connects the piston to the connecting rod and allows for rotational movement.
