DESCRIPTION
A piston kit is a set of components that includes the piston, piston rings, wrist pin and circlips. The engine piston is a cylindrical component that moves up and down within the engine cylinder due to combustion pressure. The piston rings are circular metal rings that fit into grooves on the piston to help seal it against the cylinder wall and reduce oil consumption. The wrist pin connects the piston to the connecting rod and allows for movement between them. Finally, circlips secure the wrist pin in place.
