DESCRIPTION
The Engine Piston Kit, also known as the piston assembly, is a vital component of an internal combustion engine. This kit consists of a set of pistons and piston rings that work together to compress fuel and air mixture in the cylinder during the intake stroke and ignite it during the power stroke. The piston is a cylindrical metal part that moves up and down within the cylinder bore, transferring energy from expanding gases to the crankshaft via a connecting rod. The piston rings are mounted around the circumference of the piston head, sealing off combustion gases from entering into other parts of the engine. This particular Engine Piston Kit has Part Number 4089897 and is designed for use in trucks with heavy-duty diesel engines. It is built to withstand high temperatures and pressures generated by diesel combustion while ensuring smooth engine operation with minimal friction between moving parts.
