DESCRIPTION
An engine piston kit is a set of components that includes the piston, piston rings, wrist pin, and circlips. The engine piston is the heart of the internal combustion engine and transfers energy created by the fuel combustion to the crankshaft. The piston rings provide a seal between the piston and cylinder wall to prevent oil from leaking into the combustion chamber and ensuring optimal compression. The wrist pin connects the connecting rod to the piston, allowing it to move up and down within the cylinder bore. Finally, circlips secure the wrist pin in place. Part number 4309526 refers specifically to a kit designed for use in trucks with diesel engines.
