DESCRIPTION
The Engine Piston Kit, also known as a piston assembly, is a crucial component of an internal combustion engine. It consists of the piston itself, along with piston rings and wrist pins. The piston moves up and down inside the cylinder bore to compress air and fuel mixture for ignition. The rings help to seal the combustion chamber and prevent oil from entering into it. The wrist pin connects the piston to the connecting rod which transfers power from the expanding gases to the crankshaft. The Engine Piston Kit is available in different sizes and materials depending on engine specifications. It should be inspected regularly for wear, damage or any signs of malfunctioning as it can cause loss of power, excessive oil consumption or even catastrophic engine failure if left unattended.
