DESCRIPTION
The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Cooler Leak Test Kit, also known as part number 2892313, is a diagnostic tool used to detect leaks in the EGR cooler of a truck's engine. The EGR system recirculates a portion of the exhaust gases back into the engine's intake system to reduce emissions. The EGR cooler cools down these exhaust gases before they are reintroduced into the engine. If there is a leak in the EGR cooler, it can cause engine problems such as decreased performance and increased emissions. The EGR Cooler Leak Test Kit allows mechanics to quickly and accurately diagnose any leaks in the system by pressurizing it with air and checking for any drops in pressure.
