DESCRIPTION
The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve Kit, also known as part number 4376403RX, is a crucial component in the emission control system of a truck. It works by recirculating a portion of the engine's exhaust gases back into the combustion chamber to lower nitrogen oxide emissions. The EGR valve opens and closes according to signals from the engine control module (ECM), controlling the amount of exhaust gas that enters the combustion chamber. Over time, carbon buildup can cause malfunctions in the EGR valve, resulting in decreased fuel efficiency and increased emissions. The EGR valve kit includes all necessary components for replacement and should be installed by a qualified technician.
