DESCRIPTION
The Exhaust Manifold is a component in the engine of a vehicle that collects exhaust gases from each cylinder and directs them into the exhaust pipe. It is typically made of cast iron or stainless steel, and it connects to the cylinder head by way of bolts or studs. The manifold's purpose is to ensure that all of the harmful gases produced during combustion are safely removed from the engine and expelled into the atmosphere. Over time, exposure to high temperatures and corrosive gases can cause cracks or leaks in the manifold, which can lead to reduced engine performance and increased emissions. Replacing a damaged or worn-out exhaust manifold with a new one can help ensure proper engine function and reduce environmental impact.
