DESCRIPTION
An exhaust manifold kit is a component that connects the exhaust ports of an engine's cylinder head to the exhaust system. The kit includes a manifold and gasket(s) designed to fit a specific make and model of vehicle. The manifold is typically made of cast iron or steel and is mounted directly onto the engine block. Its purpose is to collect exhaust gases from each cylinder and deliver them to the exhaust system in order to be expelled out of the tailpipe. The 5405815 Exhaust Manifold Kit is designed for use in select truck models and includes all necessary components for installation, making it an easy replacement option when experiencing issues with your vehicle's original manifold.
