DESCRIPTION
The Exhaust Recirculation Valve Kit (ERVK), also known as EGR valve, is an emissions control device in diesel engines. It helps reduce the amount of nitrogen oxides (NOx) emitted by recirculating a portion of the exhaust gas back into the engine's combustion chamber. The ERVK consists of a valve and a controller that work together to regulate the flow of exhaust gas. When the controller opens the valve, some exhaust gas is redirected to mix with incoming air and fuel, lowering combustion temperatures and reducing NOx emissions.
