DESCRIPTION
The Exhaust Recirculation Valve Kit, also known as the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) Valve Kit, is a component of the truck's emission control system. Its main function is to reduce harmful emissions by recirculating a portion of the exhaust gases back into the engine's combustion chamber. The kit consists of a valve and related hardware that controls the flow of exhaust gas into the intake manifold. When functioning properly, it helps to improve fuel efficiency and lower emissions. However, if it fails or becomes clogged with carbon buildup, it can cause engine performance issues such as rough idle or reduced power output. If these symptoms occur, it may be necessary to replace the EGR valve kit to restore proper engine function and maintain compliance with emissions regulations.
