DESCRIPTION
The Exhaust Cooler Water Inlet Tube is a component of the exhaust system in a truck. This tube connects the engine's cooling system to the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) cooler, which helps reduce emissions by lowering the temperature of the exhaust gas before it re-enters the engine. The inlet tube allows coolant to flow into the EGR cooler, where it absorbs heat from the hot exhaust gases passing through. This cools down the gases and reduces nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions. The 5337987 part number is specific to this particular inlet tube and is designed for use in certain models of trucks.
