DESCRIPTION
A Fan Hub Gasket, also known as a fan clutch gasket, is a component that seals the connection point between the fan hub and the water pump. It prevents coolant from leaking out of the engine and into the fan clutch assembly. The gasket is typically made of rubber or silicone material that is resistant to high temperatures and pressure. Over time, this gasket can wear out and cause leaks that can lead to engine damage if not fixed promptly. Replacement of a worn or damaged Fan Hub Gasket is recommended in order to maintain proper cooling system function and prevent costly repairs down the road.
