DESCRIPTION
The Flywheel Ring Gear is a component of the engine's flywheel assembly, which is responsible for transmitting power from the engine to the transmission. The ring gear is a toothed wheel that is bolted onto the outer edge of the flywheel and meshes with the starter motor's pinion gear to crank the engine during start-up. Made from high-strength steel, it must be precisely machined to ensure smooth engagement with the starter motor and reliable operation over time.
