DESCRIPTION
The flywheel housing, part number 3282060 manufactured by Cummins®, is a metal enclosure located at the rear of the engine block. It houses the flywheel and provides protection and support for it. The flywheel housing also serves as a connection point between the engine and the transmission, allowing the power generated by the engine to be transferred to the transmission and ultimately to the wheels.
