DESCRIPTION
The Flywheel Housing, also known as the Bellhousing, is a component of a truck's transmission system. Its purpose is to encase and protect the flywheel and clutch assembly. The housing is bolted to the engine block and contains a hole for the transmission input shaft to pass through. The flywheel housing must be precisely aligned with the engine block and transmission in order for the clutch to engage smoothly. Part number 3352188 refers specifically to a flywheel housing designed for use in certain truck models.
