DESCRIPTION
The Flywheel Housing, also known as the Bell Housing, is a component of the transmission system in a truck. It serves as a protective cover for the flywheel and clutch assembly. The housing is bolted to the engine block and provides a mounting point for the transmission. It also houses the starter motor which engages with teeth on the flywheel to start the engine.
