DESCRIPTION
The Flywheel Ring Gear, also known as the flex plate, is a component in an automatic transmission system that helps to transfer power from the engine to the transmission. It is typically located between the engine and transmission and engages with the starter motor to turn over the engine when starting. The Flywheel Ring Gear is made of high-strength steel and has teeth on its outer circumference which mesh with teeth on the starter motor's pinion gear. As a result, it provides a smooth and consistent rotation of the engine during operation. The Flywheel Ring Gear is an essential component for proper functioning of your vehicle's starting system.
