DESCRIPTION
The Fuel Pump, also known by its Part Number 3098353Z003, is an essential component of a truck's fuel system. Its main function is to deliver fuel from the gas tank to the engine at a consistent pressure and flow rate. Without a properly functioning Fuel Pump, the engine may not receive enough fuel to operate correctly or may experience inconsistent running conditions. The Fuel Pump typically consists of an electric motor that drives a diaphragm or piston to create suction and force fuel through the system. It is located in the gas tank or sometimes outside of it in some trucks. Regular maintenance and inspection of the Fuel Pump can help ensure optimal performance and prevent potential issues down the road.
