DESCRIPTION
The Injection Cavity Pump, also known as part number 3915583RX, is a vital component in a diesel engine's fuel system. It is responsible for delivering high-pressure fuel to the injectors at the correct time and in the correct amount. The pump consists of a rotor and a set of vanes that move within an eccentric cavity, creating suction on one side and pressure on the other. This pressure forces fuel through the injector lines and into the combustion chamber of each cylinder. The Injection Cavity Pump is essential for proper engine performance and must be maintained regularly to prevent wear or damage.
