DESCRIPTION
A Fuel Pump, such as the 4988593NX, is a crucial component in a truck's engine system. It is responsible for delivering fuel from the gas tank to the engine's carburetor or fuel injection system. The pump works by using an electric motor to create suction pressure that draws gasoline through the vehicle's fuel lines and into the engine.
