DESCRIPTION
The Fuel Control Module (FCM), also known as the fuel pump control module, is an electronic component that controls the fuel pump's operation in a truck. It receives signals from the engine control module (ECM) to regulate fuel pressure and flow rate to ensure optimal engine performance. The FCM is designed to monitor and diagnose various issues related to fuel delivery, including low pressure or voltage, clogged filters, or pump failure. In case of any malfunction, it will trigger an error code and illuminate the check engine light on the dashboard. The 5664260 model is a specific FCM part number used in certain truck models.
