DESCRIPTION
The Fuel Shutoff Valve, also known as the fuel cutoff solenoid valve, is a truck component responsible for controlling the flow of fuel from the tank to the engine. It is typically located near the fuel injection pump and can be electronically or mechanically controlled. When activated, it cuts off the fuel supply to stop the engine from running. This mechanism is commonly used in diesel engines to prevent runaway conditions that may occur when air enters into the system or when there is a malfunction in other engine components.
