DESCRIPTION
The Fuel Pump, also known by its part number FC4628RX, is an essential component of a truck's fuel system. Its main function is to pump fuel from the gas tank into the engine. The pump consists of a motor and a diaphragm that work together to create suction, drawing in fuel through the intake valve and pushing it out through the discharge valve. This process ensures that the engine receives a consistent flow of fuel at the correct pressure for optimal performance. A malfunctioning Fuel Pump can lead to poor engine performance or even complete engine failure, making regular maintenance and replacement important for any truck owner.
