DESCRIPTION
The Fuel Pump, also known as part number FCX23RX, is a crucial component of a truck's fuel system. Its main function is to transfer fuel from the tank to the engine at the correct pressure and flow rate. The pump operates by using an electric motor to create suction that draws fuel through a filter and into the pump body. From there, it is pressurized and sent through the fuel lines to the engine where it is ignited for combustion. A malfunctioning Fuel Pump can result in poor performance or stalling of the truck's engine. It is important to regularly maintain and replace this component as needed for optimal vehicle function.
