Fuel injection pump (part number 4058316) is a critical component of a truck's fuel system. It is responsible for delivering fuel from the tank to the engine at the correct pressure and volume. The pump works by using a plunger or piston to compress fuel, which is then sent through high-pressure lines to individual injectors. These injectors then spray the fuel into the engine's combustion chamber, where it is ignited and used to power the vehicle.
