DESCRIPTION
The Fuel Injection Pump, also known as the fuel pump, is a critical component in a diesel engine. It is responsible for pumping fuel from the fuel tank to the engine's cylinders at the correct pressure and timing. The 4078320 model is specifically designed for use in trucks and heavy-duty vehicles. The pump itself consists of a housing, a plunger, and an injection nozzle. As fuel enters the pump housing, it is pressurized by the plunger and directed through the injection nozzle into the engine's combustion chambers. Proper functioning of this component ensures efficient combustion and optimal performance of the vehicle's engine.
