DESCRIPTION
A non-calibrated fuel pump, also known by its part number FC4278RX, is an essential component of a truck's fuel system. Unlike a calibrated fuel pump that is specifically designed for a particular engine and vehicle, this type of pump lacks the necessary programming to adjust fuel flow based on the engine's needs. Therefore, it must be manually adjusted to deliver the correct amount of fuel to the engine. The non-calibrated fuel pump is responsible for supplying pressurized gasoline or diesel from the tank to the injectors or carburetor for combustion. It ensures that there is enough pressure in the lines to maintain optimal performance and prevent stalling or other malfunctions. Without a functioning non-calibrated fuel pump, a truck would fail to start or quickly stall out while in operation.
