DESCRIPTION
The Bypass Valve Gasket, also known as the Relief Valve Gasket or Pressure Control Valve Gasket, is a small sealing component that is typically made of rubber or silicone. It is used in the engine's lubrication system to seal the bypass valve and prevent oil from leaking out. The bypass valve itself controls the flow of oil through the engine, diverting excess oil back into the oil pan when pressure levels get too high. Over time, these gaskets can wear down and become brittle, leading to leaks and potential damage to the engine.
