DESCRIPTION
An Injector Protrusion Gauge, also known by its part number 3375155, is a tool used to measure the distance between the injector body and the cylinder head in a diesel engine. This measurement is critical to ensure that the injector is properly seated and functioning correctly. The gauge typically consists of a small metal rod with markings indicating the proper protrusion distance for a specific engine model. To use the gauge, it is inserted into the injector bore and positioned against the injector body. The protrusion distance can then be read off of the markings on the gauge. Regular use of an Injector Protrusion Gauge can help prevent costly engine damage caused by improperly seated injectors.
