DESCRIPTION
The Gauge Contact Point, also known as part number 3376604, is a component found in trucks that serves as the connection point for electrical signals between the gauge and the sending unit. It is responsible for accurately measuring and displaying information such as fuel level or engine temperature on the dashboard gauges. The contact point consists of a metal arm that moves in response to changes in pressure or temperature, which then completes an electrical circuit to send information to the gauge. Without this component, drivers would be unable to monitor critical vehicle functions while driving.
