DESCRIPTION
A Centering Gauge, also known as a wheel centering gauge, is a tool used in the maintenance and repair of trucks. It is typically used to ensure the proper alignment of wheels by measuring their distance from the hub's center point. The gauge consists of a circular metal plate with several evenly spaced holes that correspond to common hub sizes. To use, the gauge is placed over the hub and rotated until each hole lines up with the studs on the wheel. This allows mechanics to easily check if a wheel is properly centered and make any necessary adjustments. The Centering Gauge Part Number 3822560 is one specific model that can be used for this purpose on certain types of trucks.
