DESCRIPTION
A piston ring groove gauge is a tool used to measure the width and depth of the grooves in a piston where the rings are located. The part number 3823925 is a specific model of this tool. The gauge consists of a small, rectangular block with different slots cut into it, each corresponding to a different size of ring groove. To use the gauge, it is placed inside the groove and then moved around until it fits perfectly into the slot that matches its size.
