DESCRIPTION
A Feeler Gauge, represented by part number 3871327, is a thin strip of metal or plastic that is used to measure the gap between two objects. This tool consists of several blades or leaves of different thicknesses, which are individually marked with their respective measurements. The user can slide the appropriate blade into the gap and determine its size based on the marking. In automotive applications, feeler gauges are commonly used to measure spark plug gaps and valve clearances. They are also useful for checking tolerances in various other mechanical components.
