DESCRIPTION
A ring gauge, also known as a plug gauge, is a cylindrical tool used to measure the internal diameter of a hole or bore. The ST897 model is specifically designed for use in trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles. It consists of a precision-machined metal rod with one end shaped like a cylinder and the other end featuring a handle for easy manipulation. To use the ring gauge, it is inserted into the hole being measured and twisted slightly to ensure proper fit. If the gauge does not fit snugly, this indicates that the hole is either too large or too small and further adjustments are necessary.
