DESCRIPTION
The Power Steering Gear is a vital component in a truck's steering system. It is responsible for converting the rotational motion of the steering wheel into lateral movement of the front wheels, allowing for easier and more precise control of the vehicle. The Power Steering Gear works in tandem with other components such as the Power Steering Pump to provide hydraulic assistance to the driver, reducing effort required to turn the wheels. The Power Steering Pump, Part Number: 207285, is connected to the power steering gear and provides pressurized fluid that helps amplify force exerted on the wheel. Together these parts allow for smooth and effortless maneuvering of heavy trucks even at low speeds or when loaded with cargo.
