A gear and shaft refer to a component of a truck's transmission system. A gear is a rotating machine part with cut teeth that mesh with another toothed part to transmit torque. The shaft, on the other hand, is a long cylindrical rod that rotates along its axis and transmits power from the engine to the wheels via the gears. Together, they form an essential part of the transmission system in a truck.
Gear PumpA gear pump is a type of hydraulic pump used in trucks to transfer fluid from one place to another. It consists of two gears - one driven by an electric motor or engine and the other driven by it - that rotate in opposite directions, creating suction and pressure. As fluid enters through the suction port, it gets trapped between the gear teeth and pushed out through the discharge port under pressure. Gear pumps are commonly used for steering systems, brakes, transmissions, and power take-off systems in trucks due to their high efficiency and reliability.
