DESCRIPTION
The Gear Housing, also known as a gearbox case, is a component of a truck's transmission system. It encloses the gears and bearings within the transmission, protecting them from damage and preventing lubricants from leaking out. The housing is typically made of aluminum or cast iron and is designed to withstand the high stresses and temperatures generated by the moving parts inside. The Gear Housing plays an important role in ensuring that power is transmitted smoothly from the engine to the wheels, allowing for efficient operation of the vehicle on various terrains.
